Introducing the MILE PATHWAY (Managers Investing in Leadership Excellence)a management and leadership CPD project for our Registered Managers in Sussex.


The aim of the project is to prioritise the management and leadership CPD of Registered Managers across Sussex but also to advocate for Social Care.

The Dementia Dictionary contains thousands of definitions for a wide range of behaviours, actions, and vocalisations, helping people to understand what is being communicated through these actions, as well as some useful pointers and advice for how to respond to these situations based on what is being communicated.

Anyone can use the Dementia Dictionary to search for behaviours, actions, and vocalisations that they see being displayed by people living with dementia but do not understand.

The RCN Foundation is an independent charity whose purpose is to support and strengthen nursing to improve the health and wellbeing of the public. It is here for every current and former nurse, midwife and health care assistant, as well as students and nursing associates. It supports individual members of the nursing team by providing grants to those who are facing hardship, or who want to enhance their skills and develop their practice; it invests in the profession by funding nursing-led projects; and it champions nursing by supporting projects that raise the profile of the profession and highlight the contribution that nursing and midwifery makes to improving the nation’s health
