The MILE pathway (Managers Investing in Leadership Excellence) is a management and leadership CPD project for our Registered Managers across Sussex. If you would like to find out more about the project,
please feel free to
contact our project lead Juliet Smith.

The focus of this week’s newsletter is all things digital…

We are living in a technology-driven society, where digital systems support us in every aspect of our life. We are only just scratching the surface when it comes to realising the potential of using technology to transform and support social care services, with virtual wards, digital therapeutics and AI assisted dementia care already with us.

The constant updates, downloads, and importance of data security can be overwhelming, but there are so many resources to improve online confidence. By developing digital skills, social care managers can lead the way as we move into a digitally focused future.
